This is my very first blog post, so I will try to make it short and sweet. I am going to get right in to my favorite type of posts to read- wish lists. I just really enjoying reading about what others are coveting. I have quite the list, but I am trying this thing called self control (a foreign term when it comes to shopping).
So without further ado here is my Wish List July 2011:
Powder
--Mac MSF Natural (have been waiting to purchase this for a long time for fear that it will make me break out, but definitely still wanting to try it!)
--Maybelline Dream Matte Powder (heard raves and raves about this product and would like it as a powder to carry with me in my purse, waiting to finish up another powder I have)
Concealer
--Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer (waiting to use up my Lancome Photogenic Concealer)
--Hard Candy Glamoflage concealer (another one I have heard rave reviews about, but thinking I will purchase after I use up my Holy Grail Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer)
Matte Bronzer
--Hula bronzer (really excited to purchase this Matte Bronzer, swatch everytime I am in an Ulta or a Sephora, waiting to use up my lovely Lancome Star Bronzer cream to powder formula which they no longer make *tears up)
--Chanel Tan De Solei (heard it is fabulous in the summer, but my Elf blush and contour bronzer is still hanging in there after a one year love affair so I am thinking this purchase may have to wait until next summer)
Blush
--Mac Well Dressed (okay, I am a blush junkie and have LOADS of blush, but I have just heard remarkable things about this blush and I feel the need to buy it, though my blush drawer is begging me not to. Definitely the next blush I will purchase)
--Mac Melba (another shade EVERYONE talks about)
Lipstick
--MAC snob (next on my list of lipsticks to buy- absolutely gorgeous)

(Okay, lipstick is another area that I don't know why, but I just can't get enough of it. I have really been into NUDE nudes, so I have my eye on a lot from MAC. The YSLs I have been lusting forever and as far as the Chanel Rouge Coco Shines, I just love the formulation and want them all)
Foundation

(If I could only wear one "component" or "genre" of makeup that would be high end, foundation would be it. I love trying new foundations and my list only grows. I have combination/oily skin and get acne, so I do like a full coverage foundation, but I HATE ones that get cakey or have minimal staying power. I definitely get excited each time I finish up a foundation, but I have far too many in my collection right now to justify a new purchase anytime in the near future)
Tinted Moisturizer
--Laura Mercier (want, love, need particularly for the summer, but my Origins Vitazing works well with some powder over top, so again, can't justify this purchase to myself. At least for this summer)
As far as Eyeshadow goes, it my want list changes every time I visit a Sephora or Mac store, so I really can't say. Next purchase will probably be Mac's Club because I just cannot get over how unique the shadow looks.
So there you have it my (embarrassingly) long list of wishes.
